The origin of Wight Aluminium Limited (previously Wight Construction Limited) dates
back to 1965 when Murray Wight formed a construction company to build commercial
properties in the Wanganui Region. In 1973 the Vantage franchise was obtained to
manufacture residential aluminium windows. In 1995 the construction arm of the business
was wound up to focus solely on the aluminium operation which has expanded into
commercial joinery contracts.
Since becoming a Vantage Aluminium fabricator Wight Aluminium has grown into one
of the largest commercial aluminium joinery businesses in the North Island.
Manufacturing Vantage joinery gives Wight's the solid backing of Architectural Profiles

We offer customers the complete aluminium joinery package ranging from design &
shop drawings to manufacture and installation. This also includes engineering &
facade design signoffs , producer statements, quality assurance documentation and
maintenance manuals' where and when required.
