151 Victoria Street features a full curtain wall exterior, accentuated by multi-coloured aluminium composite panels and vertical fins. The sophisticated façade solution balances openness and privacy, and contributes towards light and solar control within the double tower complex, contributing to it successfully achieving a 5 Green Star rating.

Wight Aluminium designed a discrete, unobtrusive hanging system for applying the exterior composite panels and fins to deliver the architects vision for the building exterior. The panels were fabricated in three thicknesses, three widths and three finishes, and the aluminium fins ranged from 2 to 5 metres in length, with three depths and three different anodised finishes.

Additionally, Wight Aluminium worked with APL to develop several specialist extrusions for the Victoria Street project – roof glazing profiles with enhanced drainage features for two atrium skylights and heavy-duty corner zone mullions to withstand the specified wind pressures.
